YOUR PUPPY INFO:
PARVOVIRUS:
1- No dog park and no grass in all public places, eg, Tim Horton, gas bar, ect…
2- No visiting with another puppy that is not fully vaccinated.
HIP DYSPLASIA:
1- We strongly recommend feeding your puppy with a raw diet. We feed our dogs raw. We will start the puppies on raw but then we will transfer the puppies to kibbles. At the time of the pick-up of your puppy we will explain how a raw diet is way healthier for him/her. This is the food that your puppy is eating now, Lifetime Large Breed Fish Meal & Oatmeal. If you don’t want to use this food then make sure that the food you will be using is wheat/corn/soy free.

2- Low exercise until your puppy is 1 -1/2 to 2 years old, he/she will be full grown at 3,
3- No jumping off the couch, car or pickup and off the decks,
4- Wait until your dog is 3 years old or older to do a vasectomy or ovary sparing spay. The male needs his testosterone and the female needs her oestrogen for the good growth and health of their joints. If these 2 options are not available from your vet, then neuter or spay your dog or try to keep them intact.
5- Very important that your puppy is not overweight.
BLOAT:
1- If you feed you dog raw then no danger for bloat 🙂
2- Have your puppy relax before and after each meal,
3- Feed and give water to your puppy/dog with a raised feeder,
4- When you have your dog spayed/neutered you can ask your vet to tack the stomach.
EAR INFECTIONS:
1- Put some lukewarm unpasteurised honey in the ear canal.
FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS:
1- Right now (Age of 7 to 8 weeks) your puppy is getting 3/4 of a cup, twice a day, do that for a few days and give a bit more if you think he/she need more, it’s very important to follow the feeding instructions on the bag.
2- You can add some raw meat and fat to your puppy diet, you can add some coconut oil as well, raw chicken feet have a lot of glucosamine and chondroitin , it’s very good for their joints and good for their teeth.
TOYS:
1- NO RAWHIDE, but pretty much all the puppy toys are good, a real bone in the best
PET INSURANCE:
1- That is a personal choice.
AND AT LAST:
1- Most important thing is that you have to be the ALPHA, if you are not then your puppy will not have a good temperament.
2- Thanks for adopting a puppy from us, enjoy your new forever loving family addition and please keep us up to date with your puppy development.
